Taking everyday ordinary objects, such as scissors, safety knives, letter openers and safety cutters, and rethinking them in an effort to make them a better and safer product is the philosophy behind Slice.

Slice was founded in 2008 by TJ Scimone as a way to help him fund long-term care for his son, Alex.  Along with caring for his autistic child, Mr. Scimone donates a minimum of 1%  of all Slice product sales toward the research and cure of autism.

Slice Safety Cutter Review and Giveaway

Slice Safety Cutter Review:

I am excited to announce that I was given the opportunity to try the Slice Safety Cutter.  The Slice Safety Cutter is a quick, easy and safe substitute for scissors or safety knives.  It is perfect for clipping coupons from the newspaper, clipping recipes, removing shrink-wrap, opening CD’s or DVD’s packaging, scrap-booking and much more!

I personally put the Slice to the test by clipping my coupons out of the Sunday Coupon Inserts.  Here are some of the features that I like about the Slice:

  • The Slice has a non-slip finish making it easy to grip while clipping coupons.

  • Small in size so it is easy to take with you when you are shopping.
  • It has a built-in magnet so you can place it on your refrigerator or file cabinet for quick access.
  • It also has a key-ring hole if you want to place it on your key chain so that you will have it with you at all times.
  • Easy to use if you are right-handed or left-handed.
  • The blades is finger-friendly; won’t cut your fingers.  Therefore, making it a lot safer than traditional scissors to carry around with you.
